How do I maintain my ski wear?
Ski wear
You come home from a wonderful skiing vacation and your laundry basket is full of clothes that need to be washed. Laundry is certainly a chore that we all don't want to do. However, taking care of your ski wear is super important. To avoid making mistakes such as washing your ski wear together with your normal clothes, we will provide you with some useful information.
Laundry label
Many ski wear items have a water repellent layer that needs to be protected. We recommend to always follow the instructions of the washing label that you can find on the inside of your ski wear. If you cannot find the label or it is not there, then it is best to wash the ski wear at 30 degree Celsius.
Detergent
Fortunately, there are now special cleaning detergents that can be used for ski wear. This detergent protects the water repellent layer and makes your ski wear last longer. NikWax is a brand that we offer on our SkiWebShop website that has a detergent and impregnating agent.
Tips
We all want your ski wear to last as long as possible. Here are a few tips!
