Makalu 2 J Ctex mittens

The Cairn mittens are the perfect accessory for young adventurers who love to hit the slopes. These mittens, designed specifically for children, offer maximum comfort and protection in cold weather conditions.

Featuring a C-TEX insert, these mittens are fully waterproof with a water column value of 10,000 mmH2O. This means that they can handle rain or snow without any trouble. The adjustable cuffs provide extra convenience and allow for a secure fit around the wrists.

The palm of these mittens is made from 100% PU material which provides excellent grip even in wet conditions. This ensures better control while skiing or snowboarding down the slopes.

With their extra-long cuffs and wrist leash design, these mittens stay securely in place during intense activities on the slopes. The wrist leash also prevents them from getting lost when not in use.

The inner lining of these mittens is filled with premium duck down (90/10), providing unbeatable insulation against cold temperatures. Your child's hands will stay warm and cozy throughout their ski adventures.

Properties

  • Extra long cuffs Thanks to extra long cuffs, the ski gloves can be easily put on a ski jacket. This prevents snow or wind from getting under your clothes.
  • Storm cuffs With the storm cuffs it becomes almost impossible to lose your ski gloves. The extra cord around your wrists ensures that the ski gloves always stay close to you.
  • C-TEX C-TEX is an insert made to be used regularly by skiers. It is waterproof and breathable.
  • Long and adjustable snow stopper

Materials

  • Polyester Synthetic fibers using polyester have high water, wind and environmental resistance compared to plant-derived fibers.
  • Spandex A synthetic fiber known for its exceptional elasticity. It is stronger and more durable than natural rubber.
  • PolyUrethane Polyurethane is a plastic that is abbreviated with PU. Polyurethane consists a hard segment and a soft segment. The combination of the hard and soft segments create a unique combination through which polyurethane can be applied in several ways. Polyurethane is strong, flexible and wear-resistant.
  • Polyamide Polyamides occur both naturally and artificially. Naturally they occur as wool and silk. Artificially they can be made through nylons, aramids and sodium poly(aspartate). They have a high durability.
  • C-TEX insert The C-TEX insert was developed to improve all skiers comfort while skiing. Its performances are ideal for a regular use. Waterproofness: 10 000 Schmerber, breathability: 7 000 g/m2/24h
  • Palm: 100% PU
  • Goose down
