Properties of protection wear

Materials

  • Nylon Nylon is a synthetic fiber of polyamide. It makes the clothing smoother and more elastic.
  • Eva Foam

    Eva Foam ensures good absorption in the event of falls. It contains the following characteristics: soft, flexible but tough, UV- and weatherproof, isolated, lightweight and wear-resistant.
  • Rubber Natural rubber is produced out of latex. For the synthethic production of rubber is polymerisation required, a process that is also used in the production of plastics.
  • PolyUrethane Polyurethane is a plastic that is abbreviated with PU. Polyurethane consists a hard segment and a soft segment. The combination of the hard and soft segments create a unique combination through which polyurethane can be applied in several ways. Polyurethane is strong, flexible and wear-resistant.
  • Polyester Synthetic fibers using polyester have high water, wind and environmental resistance compared to plant-derived fibers.
  • D3O

    A liquid which is used because of its specific material characteristics as a protection agains bumps. During a collision the D3O molecules are coming free which are reducing the impact of the bump. After this impact the molecules go back into its normal shape and are again soft and flexible but are still offering protection.
