Photochromic lenses are lenses that set off a reversible chemical reaction, causing them to darken when exposed to UV radiation or solar light in general.
Once the radiation disappears, the lenses gradually return to their original transparent colour.They have a variable light transmission of 92-97% depending on the sun light.
DEMON MAKALU LENSES start from a protection category of 2 and reach category 4 for high mountains.The lenses do not contort the image so that you keep a great sight while providing 100% UV-protection.

With these ultra light glasses you are ready for any outdoor activity. The polycarbonate lenses have an anti-scratch system. The ultra light and elastic material of the frame and the nose peace in combination with the hypo-allergen anti-slip system offer perfect comfort. The technical rubber band can be adjusted easily.

TipThe glasses change color according to entering ultraviolet rays. Some wind shields prevent a certain degree of utraviolet rays from entering the car. The glasses of category 4 have a very dark lense, which declines the sight tremendously, so we recomment not to wear the glasses while driving the car.
